This medium is created purposely to fight for and air the views of the downtrodden within the society in every area of living wherever they may be located throughout the whole world. It will allow contributors who share the same belief to post their thoughts but for clarity sake I will be using the pen name "Aayekooto" (Truth is bitter) in realisation of the fact that "truth is forever constant".

Yoruba Ronu
At the recently concluded Pan Yoruba conference part of the communique read "it has been observed that it now appears that there is a definite move to isolate the Yoruba nation from national leadership ... The Yoruba people can no longer continue to watch events in Nigeria with careless attitude, particularly when an insult to the integrity of the Yoruba nation is being systematically carried out…” The communique went further to inform that a delegation of notable Yoruba people was appointed to meet with President Goodluck Jonathan to discuss these problems in order put a stop to the injustice to which the Yoruba people have been exposed in the distribution of political offices in Nigeria.......Fantastic idea you will say ...................but comes to be seen is among those that attended the conference apart from the Conveners were some elders of the Yoruba nation, immediate past Governors, Olagunsoye Oyinlola (Osun State), Segun Oni (Ekiti State), Otunba Gbenga Daniel (Ogun State) and Adebayo Alao-Akala (Oyo State) was represented by his deputy and incumbent Governor Olusegun Mimiko of Ondo State represented by his deputy......... then those that decided to stay away included Oba Lamidi Adeyemi (Alaafin of Oyo) Oba Michael Gbadebo (Alake of Egbaland) Oba Kayode Adetona (Awujale of Ijebuland), Oba Michael Sonariwo, (Akarigbo of Remoland) Babatunde Fashola (Governor, Lagos State), Abiola Ajimobi (Governor, Oyo State), Rauf Aregbesola (Governor, Osun State), Kayode Fayemi (Governor, Ekiti State) , Ibikunle Amosun (Governor, Ogun State), all the Senators and Members of the House of Representative with exception of only one...........How then can these people be representing the Yoruba nation in a conference that was intended to unify the race? Why should the issue to be discussed be "appointments" into sharing the cake. What has happened to all the "goodies" that we came back with when we joined the mainstream politics?............ It is question! question!! question!!! with no tangible answer top give........ I believe the time has come for the elders to allow the "Youth" decide their own future. Our elders should now be supporting behind the scene................This is simply the Voice of Wisdom.
